[00:00.000 -> 00:05.200] As a person with a very deep voice, I'm hired all the time for advertising campaigns.
[00:05.200 -> 00:10.880] But a deep voice doesn't sell B2B, and advertising on the wrong platform doesn't sell B2B either.
[00:10.880 -> 00:14.720] That's why if you're a B2B marketer, you should use LinkedIn ads.
[00:14.720 -> 00:19.920] LinkedIn has the targeting capabilities to help you reach the world's largest professional audience.
[00:19.920 -> 00:24.080] That's right, over 70 million decision makers all in one place.
[00:24.080 -> 00:26.840] All the bigwigs and mediumwigs.
[00:26.840 -> 00:29.520] Also smallwigs who are on the path to becoming bigwigs.
[00:29.520 -> 00:31.760] Okay, that's enough about wigs.
[00:31.760 -> 00:36.200] LinkedIn ads allows you to focus on getting your B2B message to the right people.
[00:36.200 -> 00:41.360] So does that mean you should use ads on LinkedIn instead of hiring me, the man with the deepest
[00:41.360 -> 00:42.840] voice in the world?
[00:42.840 -> 00:44.960] Yes, yes it does.
[00:44.960 -> 00:47.000] Get started today and see why LinkedIn
[00:47.000 -> 00:49.440] is the place to be, to be.
[00:49.440 -> 00:52.720] We'll even give you a $100 credit on your next campaign.
[00:52.720 -> 00:55.880] Go to linkedin.com slash results to claim your credit.
[00:55.880 -> 00:58.180] That's linkedin.com slash results.
[00:58.180 -> 00:59.560] Terms and conditions apply.
[01:02.560 -> 01:04.720] On our podcast, we love to highlight businesses
[01:04.720 -> 01:06.540] that are doing things a better way so you
[01:06.540 -> 01:11.600] can live a better life and that's why when I found Mint Mobile I had to share.
[01:11.600 -> 01:16.280] So Mint Mobile ditched retail stores and all those overhead costs and instead sells their

[01:29.880 -> 01:36.280] That's unlimited talk, text and data for $15 a month.
[01:36.280 -> 01:41.120] And by the way, the quality of Mint Mobile's wireless service in comparison to providers
[01:41.120 -> 01:44.040] that we've worked with before is incredible.
[01:44.040 -> 01:46.320] Mint Mobile is here to rescue you

[02:38.080 -> 02:42.560] Hiya, welcome along to another bite-sized episode of the High Performance Podcast.
[02:42.560 -> 02:47.680] It's a little bit of a different one today because Damian and I have a book coming out and
[02:47.680 -> 02:52.280] it is called High Performance Lessons from the Best on Becoming Your Best. You
[02:52.280 -> 02:58.280] can't get your hands on it yet but you can listen to it. Listen. That is the book.
[02:58.280 -> 03:03.160] I can even put it on the desk. It's a real actual book that we've got our
[03:03.160 -> 03:05.520] hands on and it's out on the 9th of December.
[03:05.520 -> 03:09.520] If you actually just scroll down, you can pre-order the book now, you can actually get
[03:09.520 -> 03:13.560] signed copies as well from Waterstones, the link is in the description to this podcast
[03:13.560 -> 03:14.560] too.
[03:14.560 -> 03:18.680] But what we thought we would do is just read a small segment from the book and talk about
[03:18.680 -> 03:23.080] it because we don't want you to think that this book is just us talking to guests who've
[03:23.080 -> 03:24.760] been on the podcast.
[03:24.760 -> 03:26.880] This book is about taking all the things who've been on the podcast. This
[03:24.800 -> 03:28.720] book is about taking all the things that
[03:26.880 -> 03:30.760] we've learned from them and drawing on
[03:28.720 -> 03:34.760] cutting-edge research to explain why
[03:30.760 -> 03:37.400] specific methods work and, crucially, how
[03:34.760 -> 03:40.920] you can use those methods. So let's just
[03:37.400 -> 03:43.400] read a bit from page 141. This is
[03:40.920 -> 04:06.000] Crisis Reimagined. Shall we share it, Damien? Do you want to start? Mae'r cyfrifiadau yn ymwneud â'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfrifiadau a'r cyfleoedd sy'n ymgyrchu'r balleiddwyr. Roedd yn gyntaf yn darganfod ei hoffi'r dans yn y cymunedau cymunedol ar gyfer plant
[04:06.000 -> 04:08.000] gyda theuluoedd anodd ar y ffyrddau o'r Llyfrgell.
[04:08.000 -> 04:10.000] Ar gyfer yr anoddion,
[04:10.000 -> 04:12.000] Sambé byddai'n gynhyrchu lle
[04:12.000 -> 04:14.000] ar y Llyfrgell Gynulliadol yng Nghymru,
[04:14.000 -> 04:16.000] yn hytrach na mynd i'w gynnal ymweld â'i
[04:16.000 -> 04:18.000] mewn sgwrs traeth, ac yn y ffaith
[04:18.000 -> 04:20.000] nad oedd yn gwybod pa mor balleidd.
[04:20.000 -> 04:22.000] Ychydig mlynedd yn ôl, roedd wedi ymuno â'r
[04:22.000 -> 04:24.000] Sgol Ballet Cymreig yng Nghymru,
[04:24.000 -> 04:27.000] yn cynyddu'n gyntaf yn soloist ac yna fel danser principal.
[04:27.000 -> 04:31.000] Ond roedd ei ddarn o'r gallu o ffynonell gweithredu wedi dod ar ôl ymgyrch mawr.
[04:31.000 -> 04:34.000] Roedd ganddo'n rhagor o stres yn ei gyn.
[04:34.000 -> 04:36.000] Doedd e ddim yn mhwysig.
[04:36.000 -> 04:38.000] Mae cael ymgyrchu'n ddifrifol oherwydd
[04:38.000 -> 04:40.000] gwybod y byddwch chi'n rhaid i chi wneud llawer o waith i ddod yn ôl,
[04:40.000 -> 04:42.000] a dweudwn ni.
[04:42.000 -> 04:45.000] Ac roedd ei rhagor ymdrechol yn y pwysau. Mae'r rhagor o stres yn ddifrifol ar gyfer y ballet danser, he told us and his particular injury was the worst of all.
[04:45.000 -> 04:47.800] A stress fracture is so bad for a ballet dancer
[04:47.800 -> 04:49.400] because it's the springs.
[04:49.400 -> 04:51.760] Imagine a spring that's broken.
[04:51.760 -> 04:55.040] His physio's advice was clear, no jumping.
[04:56.320 -> 04:58.320] When Sambei came on the podcast,
[04:58.320 -> 05:01.520] we were intrigued by how he managed to overcome his injury.
[05:01.520 -> 05:03.960] His great skill was reframing his injury,
[05:03.960 -> 05:05.520] not as a setback but
[05:05.520 -> 05:10.360] as an opportunity. It gave him a chance to try different experiences, ones he'd missed
[05:10.360 -> 05:12.440] out on due to his focus on his career.
[05:12.440 -> 05:17.460] I did a lot of reading, studying, he told us. A lot of exciting things that could further
[05:17.460 -> 05:23.280] me as a person as well as a dancer. I was like, what do I like? What do I want? Okay,
[05:23.280 -> 05:30.000] let's look at art. I went to all the museums. I hung out with lots of drag queens and other super exciting people around London, he said.
[05:30.000 -> 05:37.000] A few years on, and he doesn't remember the injury fondly, but he recognises that it taught him something.
[05:37.000 -> 05:42.000] He said, it really fed my excitement to come back with a new perspective of things.
[05:42.000 -> 05:45.360] Those nine months were pivotal for my career and pivotal for me.
[05:46.000 -> 05:50.800] I feel like if I hadn't gone through that nine months of really understanding who I am and asking
[05:50.800 -> 05:56.560] what do I want, what do I really want, I would not have looked at the director and have him go
[05:57.520 -> 06:02.880] he's ready. The injury had made him the best dancer he could be.
[06:04.160 -> 06:06.080] There's a powerful lesson here.
[06:06.080 -> 06:10.040] Think about a setback that you've experienced in your own life,
[06:10.040 -> 06:12.040] a problem at work perhaps,
[06:12.040 -> 06:17.040] and now think about two positive ways in which your behaviour changed as a result.
[06:17.040 -> 06:20.400] Did you learn a valuable insight into how your company works?
[06:20.400 -> 06:23.400] Did it teach you to be more resilient?
[06:23.400 -> 06:27.760] Like Marcellino, we can all reframe gyfraithu ein broblemau fel cyfleoedd i ddod o hyd i
[06:27.760 -> 06:29.560] persbectif newydd.
[06:29.560 -> 06:31.560] Rhaid i ni ddod o hyd i'r ddealltwriaeth da.
[06:31.560 -> 06:32.560] Rwy'n hoffi.
[06:32.560 -> 06:36.960] Ac rhan o'r ddealltwriaeth da, Damien, yw'r dewis.
[06:36.960 -> 06:41.480] Mae gwaed neu'r broblemau yn coma, nid yn stop cyflawn.
[06:41.480 -> 06:47.160] Sut y gallwn ni wneud yn well i'n ymwybodoln ffordd y bydd y amserau lle mae pethau'n teimlo'n ddwyieithiol yn unig yn gyfraith,
[06:47.160 -> 06:49.760] mae popeth yn fyw yn unig yn gyfraith.
[06:49.760 -> 06:53.280] Ie, mae yna nifer o ffyrdd cyffredin. Un o'r pethau yw dechrau gyda'r
[06:53.280 -> 06:56.400] pwysau ar y pwysau. Y pwysau sy'n seilio ar beth y byddwch chi'n eisiau ac
[06:56.400 -> 07:00.480] pam y byddwch chi'n eisiau hwnnw. Felly, gael y pwysau hwnnw yn y
[07:00.480 -> 07:02.960] rhan o hyn, oherwydd gall hynny'n rhaid i ni roi'r drwytho a
[07:02.960 -> 07:09.000] nifer o ffyned. Ond yna mae'n rhaid i ni fod yn dda i edrych ar y deunydd, y strydau byd, y prosesau
[07:09.000 -> 07:14.000] o ble rydym yn a sut rydyn ni'n rhoi un ffot yn y dyfodol i'w gadael yn y dyrfa positif.
[07:14.000 -> 07:19.000] Felly, yn y clip y ddewiswn ni i gyd, rydyn ni'n siarad am gael y gallu i weld pethau o
[07:19.000 -> 07:25.520] persbectif gwahanol. Ac mae'r ddau persbectifau, i weld y ffotograff mawr ac i sefydlu ar y deunydd,
[07:25.520 -> 07:28.920] yn bwysig i unrhywun sydd eisiau datblygu'r ddewis
[07:28.920 -> 07:32.280] ar eu ffordd i ddarparu cyflogau cyhoeddiol.
[07:32.280 -> 07:35.120] A dwi'n credu, dyma'r stori am Marcellin Asambe,
[07:35.120 -> 07:37.840] sydd wedi dod i'r podcast a oedd yn gyfrifol gwych,
[07:37.840 -> 07:39.480] ac roedd yn ymwneud â'i gysylltiad.
[07:39.480 -> 07:42.080] Ond, os ydych chi'n mynd trwy'r cyfrifol
[07:42.080 -> 07:43.160] sydd wedi ymgysylltu â Tom Daley
[07:43.160 -> 07:46.400] a'i tuad yn mynd allan yn y b a ddewiswyd Tom Daly, a'i fath yn mynd i mewn ar y byd,
[07:46.400 -> 07:51.040] Stephen Gerrard, a'r llip ar gyfer Chelsea, sydd wedi newid y diwedd ei gyrfa.
[07:51.040 -> 07:53.600] Oleg Anasolgia, yn cael ei swydd yng Nghaerdydd.
[07:53.600 -> 07:56.560] Kelly Holmes, yn cael ei ffurfio ar ein ffordd i gyffredin.
[07:56.560 -> 07:58.880] Eddie Jones, yn cael ei ffurfio.
[07:58.880 -> 08:00.720] Joe Malone, yn cael canser.
[08:00.720 -> 08:02.560] Ant Middleton, yn cael ei ffurfio yn y prifysgol,
[08:02.560 -> 08:07.000] a'i fath yn mynd i mewn pan oedd yn fach. Wrth i ni siarad â phobl ynghylch y ffordd, Damien,
[08:07.000 -> 08:26.000] rydyn ni'n teimlo bod hynny yno gyda'n holl ein cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n hollol yn cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddiol, mae'n cael eu cymorth cyhoeddioll sy'n cymdeithasol, yn ymwneud â phobl sy'n cymdeithasol, neu i'w ymdrechu bod eu bod yn cael eu cymaint, ac mae pobl eraill yn cael eu cymaint yn eithaf hwyr.
[08:26.000 -> 08:28.000] Rydym i gyd yn mynd drwy'r
[08:28.000 -> 08:30.000] llwybrau o ffyrdd o amser.
[08:30.000 -> 08:32.000] Mae'n ymwneud â gweithio ar ôl i'r rhai i'w gael.
[08:32.000 -> 08:34.000] Iawn, yn fawr iawn.
[08:34.000 -> 08:36.000] Er efallai nad oes ganddi
[08:36.000 -> 08:38.000] un o'r gwestiynau rydyn ni wedi'u cyfrifio
[08:38.000 -> 08:40.000] sydd wedi dweud i ni bod y byd
[08:40.000 -> 08:42.000] wedi bod yn rhan ddiweddar.
[08:42.000 -> 08:44.000] Mae'r rhai wedi cael pethau
[08:44.000 -> 09:10.400] yn ymwneud â chyfrofantau cyffrofant yn eu hunain. Mae'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r rhan fawr o'r technegau o sut maen nhw wedi defnyddio nhw i ddod yn y dyrfaoedd o'r trafod y maen nhw eisiau.
[09:11.280 -> 09:13.680] Mae'n dda iawn, Damien, dda iawn i siarad fel bob amser.
[09:13.680 -> 09:15.440] Iawn, rwy'n hoffi J, diolch yn fawr.
[09:15.440 -> 09:16.880] Os ydych chi eisiau cael eich cymaint ar y llyfr,
[09:16.880 -> 09:18.480] ymwneud â'r llyfr o'r gwaith gynhyrchu,
