## Canadian Grand Prix Preview
- The upcoming Canadian Grand Prix is met with excitement, although there's a possibility of rain during qualifying, which could impact the race strategy.
- Statistics for the Montreal Grand Prix:
- Last race in Montreal was in 2019, won by Lewis Hamilton.
- Bottas set the fastest lap record in 2021 but finished fourth.
- Hamilton has won six out of the last 10 races in Montreal.
- The circuit is 4.361 km long with 17 laps, two DRS zones, and a race distance of 70 laps.
- Hamilton and Schumacher share the record for most wins with seven each.
## Porpoising Controversy
- The issue of porpoising, where cars bounce excessively, has sparked a debate within Formula One.
- Toto Wolff and George Russell have expressed concerns about the safety of the phenomenon, calling for regulation changes.
- However, other drivers and team principals believe that the teams should adjust their car setups rather than relying on rule modifications.
- The dilemma lies in determining whether the FIA should intervene or if it's the responsibility of individual teams to address the issue.
## South Africa's Potential Return to the F1 Calendar
- There's a possibility of South Africa hosting a race in the 2023 season, potentially making it the longest F1 season ever with 24 races.
- The return of South Africa would depend on a deal being reached and China's ability to host a race, which has been affected by COVID-19 restrictions.
- If both South Africa and China are confirmed, the Belgian Grand Prix could be replaced.
## Max Verstappen's New Record
- Max Verstappen has achieved a new Formula One record by becoming the youngest driver to reach 25 race wins at 24 years and 255 days.
- He surpassed Sebastian Vettel's previous record of 25 wins at 25 years and 103 days.
- Verstappen's accomplishment highlights his dominance in recent seasons and his potential to break more records in the future.
## George Russell's Impressive Performance
- George Russell's consistent top-five finishes in the first eight races of the season have earned him praise and recognition.
- Russell's performances in the Mercedes, despite the team's struggles, demonstrate his talent and adaptability.
- He has a chance to surpass Nico Rosberg's record of finishing ahead of Hamilton seven times in a row as a teammate.
## Nicholas Latifi's Potential Driver of the Day
- Jake encourages listeners to vote for Nicholas Latifi as the Driver of the Day for the Canadian Grand Prix, regardless of his race result.
- The aim is to show support for Latifi and provide him with a memorable moment in his Formula One career.
## Fan Voice Notes
- Jake reads out voice notes from listeners, answering questions and engaging with their opinions.
- Topics covered include the possibility of the top three teams remaining the same, the potential rise of McLaren, and the future of Williams. ## Summary of the Pit Stop Podcast Episode

[05:03.040 -> 05:05.060] all of this in, okay?
[05:05.060 -> 05:08.460] The last race in Montreal was 2019.
[05:08.460 -> 05:10.300] I actually thought they raced there last year,
[05:10.300 -> 05:11.540] but because of COVID they didn't.
[05:11.540 -> 05:12.380] I had no idea.
[05:12.380 -> 05:14.020] Lewis Hamilton won that.
[05:14.020 -> 05:19.020] And Bottas set the fastest ever lap there last year,
[05:19.540 -> 05:22.780] 113.078, but he came fourth.
[05:22.780 -> 05:27.560] So Bottas is clearly quite, must be quite quick around this track, okay?
[05:27.560 -> 05:33.240] And I've taken that into consideration when I was setting my predictions. I have got Fab's predictions
[05:33.240 -> 05:37.360] He sent them over to me. So I will be telling you them at the end. But yeah, Bottas looks like he's
[05:38.120 -> 05:44.780] Must be quite quick around this track. I've never ever seen this Grand Prix. I might have played it on the game
[05:44.780 -> 05:47.160] I'm not even sure if it's on the game
[05:47.820 -> 05:53.280] It must be on the game. I don't know what I'm chatting. But yeah, I don't know anything about the Canadian Grand Prix
[05:53.280 -> 05:58.720] So this is all completely brand new to me. The first one was in 1978. There is 17
[05:59.240 -> 06:01.240] 17 lap. Yeah guys. It's only a short one
[06:01.960 -> 06:06.720] 17 laps. There's 70, two DRS zones.
[06:06.720 -> 06:08.520] And two drivers share the record
[06:08.520 -> 06:09.800] for the most wins there ever.
[06:09.800 -> 06:11.880] Hamilton and Schumacher with seven.
[06:11.880 -> 06:13.920] And a crazy statistic for you to take
[06:13.920 -> 06:15.560] to all your pub quizzes,
[06:15.560 -> 06:17.780] is that in the last 10 races there,
[06:17.780 -> 06:21.860] Lewis Hamilton has won six out of the last 10, okay?
[06:21.860 -> 06:24.120] That is absolutely ridiculous.
[06:24.120 -> 06:25.400] That is ridiculous
[06:25.400 -> 06:30.980] this driver we all know Hamilton's incredible and I'll never forget being a
[06:30.980 -> 06:34.540] completely new fan at the end of last season I'm watching the Brazilian Grand
[06:34.540 -> 06:42.620] Prix I watched it turn to fab and just said ah okay I get it that is why Lewis
[06:42.620 -> 06:45.600] Hamilton is Lewis Hamilton because I knew he was good, right?
[06:46.240 -> 06:49.980] But I never clocked like I needed to see him in a moment of excellence
[06:49.980 -> 06:54.120] I guess it would be like saying someone like Ronaldo or Messi are the best footballers in the world
[06:54.120 -> 06:58.440] You watch him play a rubble rubbish game and you're like what but then they go and do something crazy and it all makes sense
[06:58.840 -> 07:04.760] Yeah, it made sense to me after the Brazilian Grand Prix. I don't know if Hamilton will be winning this weekend
[07:04.760 -> 07:11.480] I mean you'd be a bold it would be a bold prediction to say that even Mercedes will win this weekend
[07:11.480 -> 07:15.020] Let alone Hamilton. I mean Russell's probably got more chance
[07:15.020 -> 07:21.960] There was even talk of Hamilton not racing this weekend after his back his back issues. Yeah, that's what we're gonna get into next
[07:21.960 -> 07:26.000] Let's go straight there. So as you saw at the end of the last Grand Prix in Azerbaijan,
[07:26.000 -> 07:33.000] Hamilton was in a lot of pain, right? He wasn't getting out the car. And then when he did get out the car, he was just in so much pain.
[07:33.000 -> 07:40.000] He was even radioing to Toto halfway through or to the radio guy. I don't know why, but for some reason, I still think that on the radio,
[07:40.000 -> 07:47.300] they're talking to either like Toto or Horner, but they're not, it's the it's the other guy okay I need to remember that they not talking
[07:47.300 -> 07:51.260] to the principal but the principal is sat there. I also love the way that
[07:51.260 -> 07:55.980] Horner sits in that little box out the front but Toto like sits back in the
[07:55.980 -> 08:00.060] office like we just was like squirrel ass with a headset on like I like the
[08:00.060 -> 08:03.460] way they can do different things like that like I think that's really cool but
[08:03.460 -> 08:09.060] yeah as we know there is an issue with the Porpoise. It's a difficult one, because some cars look
[08:09.060 -> 08:12.960] like they have it worse than others. It clearly is affecting all of the cars. You do see it
[08:12.960 -> 08:17.180] with all of the drivers, like some a lot worse than others. Obviously, Mercedes are really
[08:17.180 -> 08:22.460] struggling. Ferrari are really struggling. Alfa Tauri have got issues. But it comes down
[08:22.460 -> 08:26.000] to is it an FIA issue where they have to change
[08:26.000 -> 08:30.560] it so that everyone has to change their car? Or is it the fact that other people have just
[08:30.560 -> 08:34.840] set their cars up better for the season? And that is where the dilemma currently is, because
[08:34.840 -> 08:39.460] Toto Wolff is saying, you know, we need to do, his exact words are, we need to do something
[08:39.460 -> 08:43.200] with the regulations here because he can't move in return to Hamilton when he got out
[08:43.200 -> 08:49.240] the car. And as we know, Toto Wolff wants this changed. He isn't happy. He doesn't think it's safe.
[08:49.240 -> 08:52.280] George Russell has said it doesn't think it's safe to drive. He thinks it'll be a matter
[08:52.280 -> 08:58.640] of time. And you can see it. I'm not in any way saying it's not there. But then Horner
[08:58.640 -> 09:02.820] and some of the other drivers have come back, like Martin Brandl, other people involved
[09:02.820 -> 09:05.280] in the sport, and gone, well,
[09:05.280 -> 09:09.120] the other teams have just set their cars up better for the new regulations. Like, almost
[09:09.120 -> 09:13.920] going, you know, the Porpoise is your fault, like, you've set your car up like this. And
[09:13.920 -> 09:18.480] I guess a bit of me agrees, because if they were to suddenly just then go, oh yeah, we'll
[09:18.480 -> 09:23.200] change the regulations so that Mercedes don't have this Porpoise in or whatever, then everything
[09:23.200 -> 09:28.000] that Red Bull have done, or anything that the teams are doing that are fine is completely out the window, right? These teams
[09:28.000 -> 09:32.920] have set up for the new... I'm not 100% sure on how this even works, okay? If you said
[09:32.920 -> 09:38.560] to me, it's a regulation that's making a car bounce, that means nothing to me. That is
[09:38.560 -> 09:43.900] going straight over my head. But I can only assume it's like, how low the car has to be
[09:43.900 -> 09:45.440] or something like that.
[09:45.440 -> 09:46.440] I don't know.
[09:46.440 -> 09:49.040] I'm going to figure that out and we'll come back to you on Sunday and talk more about
[09:49.040 -> 09:53.520] this because I'm sure there'll be loads of interviews and talk about all the paupers
[09:53.520 -> 09:55.360] in after the next race.
[09:55.360 -> 09:59.960] But it is really interesting just to hear everyone's opinions because some of the people
[09:59.960 -> 10:04.400] have been saying that the drivers are deliberately complaining more than they should just so
[10:04.400 -> 10:09.160] that there's a change in the regulation. Which is so interesting, like this is something
[10:09.160 -> 10:15.080] to keep on top of. But you do look at it and you know I love Red Bull, I love all the teams,
[10:15.080 -> 10:19.040] I love all the drivers, but if you are Red Bull and you look in one of the stronger teams
[10:19.040 -> 10:23.800] against Paupersen and they want to change it, you can see why Horner come out and Horner
[10:23.800 -> 10:27.560] said if it was a genuine safety concern across the whole grid
[10:27.560 -> 10:32.740] It's something that should be looked at but if it's only affecting isolated people or teams
[10:32.920 -> 10:37.280] That's something the team should deal with not Formula One and I agree with that
[10:37.280 -> 10:40.600] Like I have to agree with that all these teams have different garages
[10:41.160 -> 10:48.560] You know, I'm just giving my opinion as someone who isn't like a certain fan of a team but it'd be I'd love to know what you guys are thinking
[10:48.560 -> 10:51.800] listening right now wherever you are listening to this podcast that's one of
[10:51.800 -> 10:56.500] my favorite things to do so like guess where people are I can imagine what day
[10:56.500 -> 10:59.880] does this go out this goes out on Thursday okay so it's Thursday morning
[10:59.880 -> 11:05.920] for some of you maybe you're walking to work, maybe you're at the gym. If you've got my
[11:05.920 -> 11:13.700] voice in your ears at the gym, okay? Pump it! Work harder! Work harder now! And if
[11:13.700 -> 11:18.140] you've got my voice in the car, slow down, check your mirrors and look for bikes,
[11:18.140 -> 11:23.420] okay? Just look for bikes. That's my advice for you. And use your indicators.

[11:36.320 -> 11:41.160] on my own. But I just didn't want to let you guys down, okay? I'm here. But yeah, the porpoise
[11:41.160 -> 11:45.320] scene is really interesting. I would love to know what you guys think but I am
[11:45.960 -> 11:48.080] Probably siding with you know
[11:48.480 -> 11:49.600] Horner and
[11:49.600 -> 11:52.400] The other people like brand all that have come out, you know
[11:52.400 -> 11:55.440] Brando said the teams that have got it sorted out are clearly saying that
[11:56.120 -> 12:02.640] Brando is saying the teams that have got it sorted out are clearly saying that's Mercedes problem. It's not Formula One's problem
[12:02.640 -> 12:05.420] It is Mercedes front in the the
[12:05.420 -> 12:09.360] main you know issue towards it but I mean Russell isn't having a mad issue
[12:09.360 -> 12:13.520] with it I know it's bad in Russell's car and yeah he's in pain a little bit but
[12:13.520 -> 12:17.760] this is this is the most consistent driver on the grid like it's a really
[12:17.760 -> 12:22.640] difficult one to decide with but yeah my personal opinion would be that I don't
[12:22.640 -> 12:25.600] really see how that can be the FIA or Formula 1's fault
[12:25.600 -> 12:27.600] when they know how they have to set up the cars.
[12:28.240 -> 12:34.400] I- I- I- That opinion might change as I learn more about this incredible sport, but that's just my opinion that...
[12:35.200 -> 12:35.840] I think.
[12:36.080 -> 12:39.840] Yeah, South Africa could be returning to the F1 calendar next year.
[12:39.840 -> 12:42.880] Now, I had no idea South Africa was ever even a race,
[12:42.880 -> 12:47.020] but me and Fab were talking about this the other day when we did a quiz on where hasn't had a race.
[12:47.020 -> 12:51.260] I feel like it'd be quite cool to have a race in South Africa.
[12:51.260 -> 12:57.020] The last race there was 1993, which I didn't know, and it's called Kalam- Kalamie.
[12:57.020 -> 12:59.540] Oh my god.
[12:59.540 -> 13:00.540] Ka- Kalamie.
[13:00.540 -> 13:01.540] Kalamie?
[13:01.540 -> 13:04.900] You know what, just skip it, okay?
[13:04.900 -> 13:07.040] Some people are listening to this going that is not how you
[13:07.040 -> 13:11.600] pronounce it, I've never heard anyone say that in my life, so I don't know what it's
[13:11.600 -> 13:15.840] called, I'm just giving you some information alright, go easy on me.
[13:15.840 -> 13:21.400] Yeah it says if a deal can be reached with South Africa, next season could be the longest
[13:21.400 -> 13:24.320] ever F1 season ever with 24 races.
[13:24.320 -> 13:29.120] However, it does depend on whether China is able to return to the calendar as planned,
[13:29.120 -> 13:32.080] you know with Covid and that, China hasn't been on the calendar.
[13:32.080 -> 13:38.100] But, if China and South Africa both happen next year, then apparently Belgium Grand Prix
[13:38.100 -> 13:40.560] is the one that's most likely to make way.
[13:40.560 -> 13:44.840] Which is really interesting, would love to know what you guys are thinking right now,
[13:44.840 -> 13:46.400] what is your favorite Grand Prix?
[13:47.040 -> 13:48.760] Our Instagram is at pit stop
[13:48.760 -> 13:52.560] We see all the DMS as you're gonna see because I'm gonna do some voice notes in today's episode
[13:53.080 -> 13:54.560] DM me one word
[13:54.560 -> 13:57.180] Okay, and tell me your favorite as you know
[13:57.180 -> 14:00.640] Don't DM me one word because if your favorite Grand Prix is South Africa
[14:00.640 -> 14:04.140] You're gonna send me south and then I'm just gonna see south and not know what you mean
[14:03.480 -> 14:07.740] South Africa, you're gonna send me South and then I'm just gonna see South and not know what you mean. So yeah, tell me the name of the track, your favourite
[14:07.740 -> 14:11.320] Grand Prix and let's get a bit of a poll going and see what people like the most
[14:11.320 -> 14:15.060] because it'll be really interesting to see whether people will be devastated if
[14:15.060 -> 14:19.200] like the Belgian Grand Prix goes. I just don't really know much about the Belgian
[14:19.200 -> 14:22.240] Grand Prix, however I do want to go because I went on a school trip to
[14:22.240 -> 14:25.180] Belgium when I was younger and they got loads of chocolate there
[14:25.180 -> 14:27.460] And really good bars for beer
[14:28.020 -> 14:32.600] But then to be fair where doesn't really have good bars for beer, but yeah
[14:33.820 -> 14:41.120] God well, I'm on my own. I chat so much shit. Yeah, Max Verstappen has broken a new Formula One record
[14:42.700 -> 14:44.700] I'm gonna pretend fabs here as well. Oh
[14:41.400 -> 14:42.240] Formula One record. Ooh.
[14:43.240 -> 14:44.640] I'm gonna pretend Fab's here as well.
[14:44.640 -> 14:47.400] Ooh, yeah, a bit of an echo.
[14:47.400 -> 14:50.200] Yeah, as we know, Max Verstappen is an incredible driver.
[14:50.200 -> 14:52.360] I have said over and over again
[14:52.360 -> 14:54.280] that I think he's the best driver on the grid.
[14:54.280 -> 14:57.000] And, you know, some people completely disagree.
[14:57.000 -> 14:57.920] Some people agree.
[14:57.920 -> 14:59.200] I get the people that disagree,
[14:59.200 -> 15:00.640] because they say, well, there's a seven-time
[15:00.640 -> 15:01.960] world champion on the grid.
[15:01.960 -> 15:04.040] But I'm talking about right now.
[15:04.040 -> 15:05.600] Like, I'm not saying the
[15:05.600 -> 15:12.160] most accomplished, I'm talking about right now who is the best driver on the grid. For me it's Max
[15:12.160 -> 15:17.840] Verstappen. I think he's lucky because Red Bull are at the peak of their game and he is in a car
[15:17.840 -> 15:22.800] every week at the moment that looks like it can win every week. I mean, that's proven by the fact
[15:22.800 -> 15:30.400] Perez is absolutely flying as well, but I do love Perez as well. So maybe I'm a bit biased towards Red Bull. But to be honest
[15:30.400 -> 15:35.360] I'm just biased towards whoever's winning. I mean I like Haas a lot. It's just I don't
[15:35.360 -> 15:42.640] win much really. So it's not much to talk about yet. But one day when Haas do the ultimate,
[15:42.640 -> 15:45.880] trust me, you guys are gonna know about it and I will
[15:45.880 -> 15:47.840] not shut up about it.
[15:47.840 -> 15:52.560] But yeah, Max Verstappen has broken a new Formula 1 record, okay, and I thought this
[15:52.560 -> 15:54.400] was unbelievably impressive.
[15:54.400 -> 16:03.520] He is the youngest driver ever to reach 25 race wins, 24 years, 255 days, and he's beaten
[16:03.520 -> 16:08.400] Sebastian Vettel, who did it when he was 25 and 103 days.
[16:08.400 -> 16:12.160] And we know Vettel has loads of records for being one of the youngest drivers ever.
[16:12.160 -> 16:15.160] I believe Vettel was the youngest driver ever to win the championship.
[16:15.160 -> 16:17.960] Max Verstappen was the youngest driver ever to win a race.
[16:17.960 -> 16:21.220] You know, these people are setting some of the youngest records.
[16:21.220 -> 16:26.000] If you've got a driver on the grid now that is winning these kind of records, getting these kind of records,
[16:26.000 -> 16:32.000] and Red Bull at the absolute peak, like, they are clearly doing very well with everything they're doing,
[16:32.000 -> 16:36.000] their setup and everything within Red Bull seems to be going great.
[16:36.000 -> 16:40.000] Could this be a driver now that is going to break so many records? Do you know what I mean?
[16:40.000 -> 16:44.000] I mean, last time I said that, everyone was like, no, because the grid's going to be closer now,
[16:44.000 -> 16:48.980] because of the budget caps and that, and I do agree with you. I do agree that the grid will be closer
[16:48.980 -> 16:52.320] Well, we saw it this week like Mercedes out of nowhere get good positioning
[16:53.260 -> 16:57.560] All it takes is one bad race for Red Bull. Maybe a bad race for Ferrari as well
[16:57.560 -> 17:01.840] You could see a McLaren up there or you know an Alpine, you know, anything could happen
[17:01.840 -> 17:08.520] I think the grid will be closer and it will be harder for someone to go and win it like seven times like Hamilton has. But I do think
[17:08.520 -> 17:13.560] Verstappen has got it. Like, I don't know what other people think, but I really think
[17:13.560 -> 17:19.920] he's incredible. He's the one driver I watch and, I mean, to be fair, sometimes you see
[17:19.920 -> 17:31.260] Leclerc. When Leclerc's qualifying he looks like the most Unbelievable driver and like ever I think in that Ferrari. He just flies. Yeah, that's why I love Leclerc a lot
[17:31.880 -> 17:37.820] He's clearly more comfortable in the Ferrari than signs and I am gutted for Leclerc because he would be
[17:38.440 -> 17:43.920] Having such a different season right now in the stand-ins if the car just didn't keep going wrong
[17:44.120 -> 17:48.800] Like it's a team sport at the end of the day and he has been let down by his team.
[17:48.800 -> 17:51.800] There's still plenty of the season to go.
[17:51.800 -> 17:55.440] But I do think there's levels between Verstappen and Leclerc, to be honest.
[17:55.440 -> 18:00.200] I think Leclerc's got it without a doubt as well, and I think if he has the car week in,
[18:00.200 -> 18:03.440] week out, I mean it helps to win, right?
[18:03.440 -> 18:05.580] It's as simple as that, it helps to win. If you
[18:05.580 -> 18:10.600] play any team sport and you win every week or you're always right there and you know
[18:10.600 -> 18:14.340] you're never going to be let down and you turn up confident, believing in yourself that
[18:14.340 -> 18:18.900] you can do it, it's going to affect your performance. You're going to feel like you can win, you're
[18:18.900 -> 18:23.660] going to give 100%. But if you're turning up to a race knowing last week you DNF'd because
[18:23.660 -> 18:28.560] your engine blew out, the week before that you had to pit because someone did something wrong, you know, or
[18:28.560 -> 18:32.360] you called into the pits at the wrong time, you can't even trust your team, it's going
[18:32.360 -> 18:34.280] to affect your mind.
[18:34.280 -> 18:39.520] And I think that's why I say Verstappen has everything at the moment as a package.
[18:39.520 -> 18:44.000] I think he has everything ready to bounce and bounce and pounce, you know, and just
[18:44.000 -> 18:45.480] take these records.
[18:45.480 -> 18:51.960] If Leclerc can get the team and everything around him perfect, maybe, just maybe, he
[18:51.960 -> 18:55.080] will compete this season and get right there.
[18:55.080 -> 19:01.480] But one of my, like, really strange out there predictions is that this Mercedes, you know,
[19:01.480 -> 19:05.200] well, you know, one of the best constructors of all time.
[19:05.200 -> 19:10.980] I wouldn't be surprised if they do manage to sort this out.
[19:10.980 -> 19:16.200] And if Russell was able to do what he's doing in the car he's in, a bit of me does think
[19:16.200 -> 19:20.400] that this could change to a Verstappen-Russell championship title battle.
[19:20.400 -> 19:24.400] And you may think, wow, Jake, that is an absolutely ridiculous call.
[19:24.400 -> 19:30.400] Russell is only 30 points behind Perez at the moment, and Perez is second. Okay, he's only 17 points
[19:30.400 -> 19:35.200] behind Leclerc. And this is a driver that is getting points week in, week out. So if
[19:35.200 -> 19:41.280] the other driver's DNF and things go wrong, and he just maintains it, who knows what Russell
[19:41.280 -> 19:46.800] could do this season. I'm absolutely loving watching it, and that is what we're gonna get onto next.
[19:46.800 -> 19:49.160] Just chat about George Russell for a bit.
[19:49.160 -> 19:51.960] Like, I wanna put some gold onto his name.
[19:51.960 -> 19:54.400] Like, what an incredible driver.
[19:54.400 -> 19:55.760] We didn't give him stick,
[19:55.760 -> 19:57.560] we just didn't know how good he was
[19:57.560 -> 19:58.520] at the start of this season,
[19:58.520 -> 19:59.760] like from the end of last season.
[19:59.760 -> 20:01.440] When he came to Mercedes,
[20:01.440 -> 20:03.360] I remember saying, and I hold my hands up,
[20:03.360 -> 20:07.520] I was wrong, I remember saying, I feel like, why did they get rid of Bottas?
[20:07.520 -> 20:10.320] Bottas is a great driver, doesn't make sense.
[20:10.320 -> 20:14.560] And that was an idiot opinion from me, I think.
[20:14.560 -> 20:17.120] Now I look at it and I think, wow.
[20:18.000 -> 20:20.880] George Russell was like the future of Mercedes.
[20:20.880 -> 20:27.360] Like, this guy is so well represented, he looks after himself. He looks after himself.
[20:27.360 -> 20:30.720] I'm saying that like he like shaves well or something. No, he's just like a presentable
[20:30.720 -> 20:36.960] guy, isn't he? Like people like him, I think. I think he's a nice guy. But then not only that,
[20:37.520 -> 20:45.480] he is coming to this Mercedes, which clearly has issues and absolutely smashed it. Let's look back at the 8 races so far.
[20:45.480 -> 20:52.760] He's 4th in Bahrain, 5th in Saudi Arabia, 3rd in Australia, 4th in Imola, 5th in America,
[20:52.760 -> 20:57.480] 3rd in Barcelona, 5th in Monaco and 3rd in Baku.
[20:57.480 -> 21:02.160] He has been in the top 5 for all 8 races so far.
[21:02.160 -> 21:09.000] That is absolutely remarkable. To be honest, in a new team, yeah, I mean
[21:09.000 -> 21:14.000] it might be a little bit similar to the Williams, but that Williams was terrible last year.
[21:14.000 -> 21:19.000] I mean, it wasn't what he wanted, was it? But he learnt and he got better every week.
[21:19.000 -> 21:23.800] He's got in a quicker car and my God is he showing what he can do. It's so exciting.
[21:23.800 -> 21:29.740] I do think Russell will win a race this season. I'd love to see Russell win a race. Imagine Russell wins
[21:30.720 -> 21:31.880] Silverstone
[21:31.880 -> 21:38.680] That could be nuts. Is it written in the stars? I tell you what now for my prediction of Silverstone
[21:38.680 -> 21:40.920] I'm going Russell to win no matter what don't care
[21:40.920 -> 21:46.400] I know a bit far off the Silverstone predictions, but just because I kind of want it to happen
[21:46.920 -> 21:52.340] Let's go Russell to win. Yeah, okay everyone with me. Oh, yeah, by the way guys
[21:53.280 -> 21:56.520] Everyone listening. All right. We all need to vote
[21:57.120 -> 22:03.400] Nicholas Latifi as driver of the day for the Canadian Grand Prix. Okay, it's as simple as that
[22:03.400 -> 22:05.440] I don't care whether he wins. I don't care whether simple as that. I don't care whether he wins,
[22:05.440 -> 22:09.440] I don't care whether he comes last, I don't care whether he doesn't even finish the race.
[22:10.000 -> 22:16.560] I want to see how powerful we all are together. Okay, everyone vote Nicholas Latifi for driver
[22:16.560 -> 22:21.520] of the day. Because if Nicholas Latifi wins driver of the day at the Canadian Grand Prix,
[22:21.520 -> 22:26.480] it'll probably be the best day of his life. So let's give Nicolas Latifi something to celebrate.
[22:26.480 -> 22:28.880] Okay, thank you very much for your time.
[22:28.880 -> 22:31.840] Imagine he won it, that would be absolutely genius.
[22:31.840 -> 22:35.520] Imagine he actually won the race, that would be even more genius.
[22:35.520 -> 22:38.320] Do you know what? I'm sat here in a Williams top,
[22:38.320 -> 22:43.200] and I am going to be cheering on Nicolas Latifi this weekend harder than ever.
[22:43.200 -> 22:44.000] Harder than ever.
[22:44.640 -> 22:45.640] Like, let's cut the man some slack, okay? Nicholas Latifi this weekend harder than ever harder than ever like
[22:45.640 -> 22:51.400] Let's cut the man some slack. Okay. Yeah, he's had a couple of bad races. He's a Formula One driver
[22:51.400 -> 22:55.140] He's clearly a good driver at the end of the day. Like maybe this is his week
[22:55.680 -> 22:58.560] Maybe it is, you know a boy can dream. Okay
[23:00.200 -> 23:05.600] Yeah, so there's another record up for grabs that Russell could set here as well, which
[23:05.600 -> 23:08.080] I found this online, I thought it was mad.
[23:08.080 -> 23:17.800] So if Russell beats Hamilton again, like this weekend, like finishes ahead of Hamilton,
[23:17.800 -> 23:25.900] he will beat Nico Rosberg's record from 2015 to 2016 of placing above Hamilton in races seven times.
[23:26.420 -> 23:30.400] So, because at the moment he's only done it seven times in a row because of the first race.
[23:30.400 -> 23:34.240] So basically, if Russell beats Hamilton this week,
[23:34.500 -> 23:38.540] he will be the one driver that has finished above Hamilton as a teammate
[23:39.080 -> 23:46.840] more than anyone else in a row. Which is pretty crazy, like I think think I don't know how good Russell is at Canada
[23:46.840 -> 23:53.220] I don't even know if Russell's ever raced at Canada before but Russell I am right behind you
[23:53.360 -> 23:59.680] This has been like a proper Williams Russell when Latifi episode because I'm in my Williams top which is really old
[24:00.340 -> 24:05.880] Really old guys that reminds me. We're thinking of changing the channel art the the picture on the podcast
[24:06.440 -> 24:10.160] Because we we did we knew that the tops were out of date, right?
[24:10.280 -> 24:13.840] because Christian Horner told me my red ball top was out of date, but I
[24:14.520 -> 24:19.780] Feel like we shouldn't be so out of date. Maybe like a season would be alright
[24:19.780 -> 24:23.560] But I think we're like two years behind with with some of our merch
[24:24.040 -> 24:25.840] we went to his pop-up shop and
[24:26.400 -> 24:28.400] This was the best we could get
[24:29.180 -> 24:31.760] You got a settle with our old merch. Oh
[24:32.660 -> 24:37.700] God, but yeah, I'm really excited for this bit of the podcast. I'm gonna roll some music. Okay
[24:37.700 -> 24:41.300] I want all you to sit back relax because you guys are about to come on the podcast
[24:41.360 -> 24:49.200] We put out on pit stop Instagram send us some voice notes. I haven't looked at any of them. It's going to be completely unfiltered, so it could go terribly.
[24:50.400 -> 24:54.480] I'm going to roll some music. We're going to come back and you guys are coming onto the podcast to
[24:54.480 -> 25:00.640] ask me my opinion and questions. And I don't know why you want my opinion. It's going to be terrible.
[25:01.200 -> 25:10.880] But yeah, roll the music
[25:14.380 -> 25:20.680] Okay, welcome back firstly I want to say a massive shout out I have just gone on the account and my god I put this live because I had a panic right
[25:20.680 -> 25:24.040] I was like fabs not here. What am I gonna do? I don't want to let the people down
[25:24.040 -> 25:25.800] We have to get something out.
[25:25.800 -> 25:27.920] I put a little story up saying send us voice notes.
[25:27.920 -> 25:29.640] I've got hundreds!
[25:29.640 -> 25:30.840] There's absolutely hundreds!
[25:30.840 -> 25:34.840] I would love to play all of them, but we will be here for hours.
[25:34.840 -> 25:36.360] And I am sweating.
[25:36.360 -> 25:43.440] It's very, very hot in London, and there's a window right to my right, and I was on my
[25:43.440 -> 25:47.000] bed earlier, sat there like literally just in my boxes
[25:47.000 -> 25:53.360] on my laptop working away and I just look right and there's just this bald man staring
[25:53.360 -> 25:58.520] at me cleaning my window and I was thinking oh my god how long has he been there and then
[25:58.520 -> 26:03.800] I was like what websites have I been on whilst he was here I put myself in panic mode yeah
[26:03.800 -> 26:06.000] that happened but yeah I've got loads of voice notes
[26:06.000 -> 26:08.000] so we're gonna start from the beginning and
[26:08.040 -> 26:14.840] We're just gonna fly through some of them and I hope you guys enjoy this section. So start off with we've got Guy Bishop
[26:15.160 -> 26:36.320] Shout out Guy Amazing question. So will the top three teams right now remain the top three teams?
[26:36.320 -> 26:41.680] I think with the budget cap, it's open for anyone to, you know, have an opportunity.
[26:41.680 -> 26:46.600] I mean, it's also about getting the best drivers, right?
[26:46.600 -> 26:51.880] I mean, I'm a massive fan of Piastri, and if Piastri does replace... I mean, I'm not
[26:51.880 -> 26:56.120] saying Piastri is going to win a championship in Williams, I'd love it more than anything.
[26:56.120 -> 27:01.240] But it does make me think, like, if you put a class driver in a car, maybe they can do
[27:01.240 -> 27:06.440] something mad. I don't know.
[27:06.440 -> 27:09.400] Williams are like one of the most successful teams of all time, so a bit of me does think
[27:09.400 -> 27:10.680] one day they will come back.
[27:10.680 -> 27:15.040] I think the one that isn't there, that will be, is McLaren.
[27:15.040 -> 27:19.780] I mean I'll be surprised if McLaren don't make it into the top three again.
[27:19.780 -> 27:26.800] I think the thing is right, Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes as a three are just so far ahead
[27:26.800 -> 27:28.760] of everyone else, I think.
[27:28.760 -> 27:30.920] I think the rest of the grid have got so much better.
[27:30.920 -> 27:36.960] Like this season we're seeing like the Alpine, the Alfa Tauri, even the Alfa Romeo some weeks.
[27:36.960 -> 27:42.480] You know, Joe was having a great race last week, it was a shame he had to retire.
[27:42.480 -> 27:48.200] But it's a hard one, I can't really sit here and honestly say I could see Aston Martin
[27:48.200 -> 27:53.320] being a top team in a couple of years, really, I don't know.
[27:53.320 -> 27:58.080] Guy, amazing question mate, but you've asked someone who doesn't know anything.
[27:58.080 -> 28:05.360] The next question is from John, his name is just John so... Hi John! Hi, my question is...
[28:05.360 -> 28:07.360] The way he just said hi after I said hi...
[28:07.360 -> 28:10.880] If you had to remove one team from Formula 1, what would that team be?
[28:11.920 -> 28:15.440] If I had to remove one team from Formula 1, what team would that be?
[28:16.000 -> 28:18.800] I feel like I don't even want to answer that, I like all the teams.
[28:19.520 -> 28:21.680] If I had to remove one, no.
[28:21.680 -> 28:22.560] Alright, okay.
[28:24.880 -> 28:25.000] Oh, okay.
[28:26.240 -> 28:29.120] Oh, difficult.
[28:31.160 -> 28:32.000] No, I wouldn't remove any of them. I wouldn't.
[28:32.000 -> 28:33.960] I'd add more, John, okay?
[28:33.960 -> 28:35.360] I've said this.
[28:35.360 -> 28:37.000] We need more teams.
[28:37.000 -> 28:39.560] There could be another four drivers on the grid.
[28:39.560 -> 28:41.880] I think another four drivers on the grid.
[28:41.880 -> 28:42.720] Easy.
[28:42.720 -> 28:44.000] There's enough room.
[28:44.000 -> 28:46.360] Once they get going, it's spread out enough like
[28:47.520 -> 28:53.560] Chuck another two teams in there. Why not? You'd get more of the f2 drivers coming in. You know, you could I
[28:54.160 -> 28:56.160] Don't know yet
[28:56.160 -> 29:02.480] A lot, but I think I definitely could be team room for another two teams. The next question is from Zoe Ward
[29:02.720 -> 29:09.000] teams. The next question is from Zoe Ward. How many drivers have you officially met at like, not the one in the bar, you know?
[29:09.000 -> 29:13.040] Ah yeah, we did meet loads in the bar when we were at an event. I don't know, we've not
[29:13.040 -> 29:21.560] like met many drivers, like in person. I mean, we met Oli Behrmann, which was really cool.
[29:21.560 -> 29:25.280] He was a lovely guy and he actually listens to the podcast so shout out to you if you're
[29:25.280 -> 29:30.160] listening. Yeah we saw him in the paddock and he knew we were the Pit Stop guys so we thought that
[29:30.160 -> 29:35.760] was really cool. He's the Ferrari like Reserve Academy driver and he's going to be class so it
[29:35.760 -> 29:42.240] was the most amazing thing that he said he knew we were. We've met like Alex Albon, Jack Aitken
[29:42.240 -> 29:50.000] obviously, Oli Corbwell. Shout out to Oli by the way who tested the Alpine F1 car for the first time today.
[29:50.000 -> 29:55.000] Amazing to see that, would love nothing more than absolute success for that boy, he is lovely.
[29:55.000 -> 30:00.000] But yeah we haven't met that many yet but we'll come back to that once we've met everyone.
[30:00.000 -> 30:06.440] Because we're just going to keep worming our way into every single hole and hopefully we get to meet everyone. The next question is from Harry
[30:07.920 -> 30:12.960] Do you think it is the car or do you think Lewis has lost all of his skill as a driver?
[30:14.280 -> 30:15.560] Wow
[30:15.560 -> 30:17.080] It's definitely the car
[30:17.080 -> 30:24.120] I mean you don't just lose that skill as a driver to be a seven-time world champion. You have a very strong mind
[30:24.520 -> 30:25.040] You are very you are very very talented champion, you have a very strong mind.
[30:25.040 -> 30:29.240] You are very, very talented, but you have a very strong mind.
[30:29.240 -> 30:34.880] So I don't think he's lost all his abilities, but I definitely do think if the car stays
[30:34.880 -> 30:40.160] bad for a long period of time, the decline in performance could follow, which I worry
[30:40.160 -> 30:44.960] about because I would love Hamilton to break that record and get a championship.
[30:44.960 -> 30:48.520] But at this time, I just don't know whether it's gonna happen
[30:48.520 -> 30:50.800] next up we've got Kyle
[30:50.800 -> 30:54.920] since the Canadian Grand Prix is coming up I'm gonna ask about the two Canadian
[30:54.920 -> 30:59.280] drivers Latifi and Stroll do you think they're underperforming and do you think
[30:59.280 -> 31:04.280] they'll have a seat by next year because at the rate it's going I don't think so
[31:04.280 -> 31:05.600] I love the podcast boy.
[31:05.600 -> 31:13.280] Class, great message. Yeah, let's cut the bullshit. Clearly it's not going great for
[31:13.280 -> 31:17.360] Latifi. Everyone knows that, everyone has said the same thing, there's been rumours
[31:17.360 -> 31:22.720] of him getting swapped out in the summer break for Oscar Piastri. So, but that's why we're
[31:22.720 -> 31:25.680] going to get behind Latifi for the Canadian Grand Prix, aren't we?
[31:25.680 -> 31:29.620] No matter what he's gonna be driver of the day. I want everyone to vote for him
[31:29.840 -> 31:33.760] Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised whether you see Latifi get swapped out, which is a shame
[31:34.600 -> 31:38.040] but it's a cut it's a cutthroat sport like I can't sit here and
[31:38.880 -> 31:40.480] Be like no
[31:40.480 -> 31:48.000] Just because I don't you know, I don't I don't dislike the guy. I like the guy. I want him to do well. I like all his drivers.
[31:48.000 -> 31:57.000] It's just a bit devastating, isn't it? With Stroll, it's a difficult one because his dad owns a team, so he's not even on a contract, is he?
[31:57.000 -> 32:11.640] He's just there. Like, he's not signed to a certain time. He's just going to be there. I do think that Aston Martin isn't slow. I mean, Vettel had a great race in Baku. I think the Aston Martin will get better and better. But I don't know whether
[32:11.640 -> 32:14.720] they even they'll think, oh, well, maybe we should get another driver in because we've
[32:14.720 -> 32:19.480] got a good car here. I mean, I think Straw is underperforming a bit, but maybe he's just
[32:19.480 -> 32:24.080] not used to these. You know, Vettel is one of the greatest drivers of all time, let alone
[32:24.080 -> 32:26.920] on the grid now. So you could put him in any car and he'll probably perform
[32:28.720 -> 32:32.800] But yeah, I do think Stroll and Latifi are both underperforming a little bit
[32:32.800 -> 32:36.220] I guess that's a fair point to make Noah Aaron has sent us
[33:06.560 -> 33:13.960] What do you guys think of other racing series like. I have watched a little bit of Le Mans and I watched a little bit of NASCAR and then watched a NASCAR movie
[33:13.960 -> 33:19.040] which I thought was really great. But I'll be honest, other than W Series I don't really
[33:19.040 -> 33:24.560] watch the others, I don't know where they're on or when they're on really. But the Formula
[33:24.560 -> 33:25.840] E is on at the excel
[33:25.840 -> 33:27.440] Which is like really near our flat
[33:27.440 -> 33:32.720] So we're gonna go to it and we're gonna try and get a formula e drive from because that'll be really cool
[33:33.880 -> 33:38.800] But yeah, it's all the same thing really like we love I love racing. I love competitive things
[33:38.800 -> 33:43.900] I'm sure I would recommend that to any other new formula one fans or any new racing fans
[33:43.900 -> 33:45.360] I make sure you try
[33:45.360 -> 33:51.120] and watch the others. I mean, I'd love to, but when I say this podcast is a full-time job, it's a
[33:51.120 -> 33:57.280] full-time job, right? We upload so many videos and two a week and YouTube and I love it, I love it,
[33:57.280 -> 34:01.520] this keeps me busy, this keeps me sane, like, this is good for my mental health, this podcast, like,
[34:01.520 -> 34:05.040] I love this with everything we do but yeah I just don't
[34:05.040 -> 34:09.800] have time to watch more races like my whole weekend is out for the Formula One like just
[34:09.800 -> 34:13.720] don't have time you know what I mean and I love the F2 as well.
[34:13.720 -> 34:18.560] Joe Guteswaffen that I'm sorry mate.
[34:18.560 -> 34:27.320] I support Ferrari but I will say they will fall down and not be able to stick
[34:32.440 -> 34:37.000] Yeah, bold bold bold bold bold Joel, but I said the same thing I worry that Ferrari are gonna fall behind because Red Bull we're gonna get so far away
[34:37.000 -> 34:39.640] And I think that's a very like valid opinion
[34:39.640 -> 34:50.220] I mean, that's just how it looks but you never know if we see a Ferrari one two in Canada and Red Bull both D And F back to square one you know it'd be back to the start season the points will be much closer again
[34:50.700 -> 34:53.800] But yeah, Red Bull are pulling away from Ferrari at this moment in time
[34:54.440 -> 34:56.440] Sarah Harrogate
[34:56.440 -> 35:02.940] Hey guys. Here's a question for you. What do you think will happen in Ferrari if they keep?
[35:06.440 -> 35:11.700] in Ferrari if they keep underperforming throughout the rest of the season and Red Bull come through and it looks like Max Verstappen may take a second
[35:11.700 -> 35:18.080] championship. It's an interesting question right because I mean as a new fan I'll
[35:18.080 -> 35:22.320] be honest I don't really know I don't think they're gonna replace the drivers
[35:22.320 -> 35:26.740] are they I mean they've only just both signed new contracts and the clearance signs are both great drivers
[35:26.740 -> 35:30.640] The issue is within the car. Do they need to start like looking at who they're firing?
[35:31.340 -> 35:35.440] do they do like reviews after when something goes wrong or I
[35:36.380 -> 35:42.240] Just the thing is when an engine just like goes like they did this week and they got two DNFs
[35:43.260 -> 35:46.360] Whose fault is that? I don't really
[35:46.360 -> 35:52.080] know. I need to look into this. Is that the engineer's fault? Someone in the garage? Like
[35:52.080 -> 35:57.880] someone in the factory? Has that happened because someone set the car up wrong? I mean,
[35:57.880 -> 36:01.680] without a doubt, I'm sure they do investigations into it. I just don't see the driver line
[36:01.680 -> 36:05.640] up changing no matter what. Because the issue isn't really with the drivers is it's with the cars
[36:06.440 -> 36:09.120] But it does lead back to what I just said
[36:09.120 -> 36:12.760] Yeah, it does look like Max Verstappen is gonna be on the way to his second world championship
[36:13.400 -> 36:17.000] Shit, shit, blimey my lisp. Jesse has said
[36:18.440 -> 36:21.560] What's your opinion on Mr. Consistency?
[36:22.200 -> 36:24.320] Has George chances?
[36:22.000 -> 36:22.160] Mr. Consistency
[36:24.280 -> 36:25.000] Has George chances?
[36:29.640 -> 36:30.480] Has he potential to be in the fight for the World Championship?
[36:35.480 -> 36:36.120] Love it. I think George Russell does have potential to fight for the World Championship, which is bold
[36:38.360 -> 36:39.040] Because he's like a little bit behind
[36:41.680 -> 36:52.400] But I think anyone who is that consistent It's like I was saying earlier if you've got the mindset knowing every week you're going out there and you can do something, like at the beginning of the Baku Grand Prix, I don't know if you saw his interview, he said that he believes fifth is the best he can do today.
[36:52.880 -> 36:56.200] And he believed that when he said that, I think he really believed that.
[36:56.600 -> 37:00.120] And he would have been happy with that because that would have still been a top five finish.
[37:00.600 -> 37:01.640] But he came third.
[37:02.240 -> 37:06.280] But he came third. And yeah, some things have gone, I am not stupid by the way, I've seen the messages
[37:06.280 -> 37:07.800] and replies to our TikToks.
[37:07.800 -> 37:13.400] I'm aware Russell has got lucky sometimes this season with other people DNFing, you
[37:13.400 -> 37:16.240] know the tactics of hards and then a safety car.
[37:16.240 -> 37:19.760] I've been loving by the way, learning all the undercut, overcut, how the safety cars
[37:19.760 -> 37:24.640] work, you know, learning all the little tactical bits, I've been really enjoying it.
[37:24.640 -> 37:26.040] James Hillocks sent us
[37:26.040 -> 37:32.080] I'd like to know if Lewis's driving position is different to George's or
[37:32.360 -> 37:38.240] But they were running different setups on Sunday's race because obviously Lewis was suffering
[37:38.680 -> 37:40.680] badly and George
[37:40.880 -> 37:43.680] Actually said that it didn't seem to be too bad this race
[37:45.000 -> 37:52.280] I actually said that it didn't seem to be too bad this race. Yeah, so James, what I think I've learnt is that they have complete different setups.
[37:52.280 -> 37:59.060] Now we only know from what other people reply to us and tell us back, but I think they're
[37:59.060 -> 38:03.000] just running completely different setups, completely different cars, trying different
[38:03.000 -> 38:04.000] things.
[38:04.000 -> 38:08.700] One may work better than the other down the line, it may not work better down the line. But a bit of me does
[38:08.700 -> 38:14.420] still think that they may be developing Russell's car now to get him comfortable in it because
[38:14.420 -> 38:19.620] he's clearly doing better. And a bit of me also thinks maybe a lot of Mercedes' resources
[38:19.620 -> 38:24.220] and time is going on the next season's car. Like maybe they're looking at this going,
[38:24.220 -> 38:25.200] right, we weren't
[38:25.200 -> 38:29.960] ready for this season, because we got thrown into a title battle last year, and we had
[38:29.960 -> 38:34.360] to give everything to it. So maybe they're just putting everything into Hamilton's car
[38:34.360 -> 38:39.520] and prepping Hamilton for next season so he can have a real bite at his ape. That's something
[38:39.520 -> 38:46.600] that I do think could be happening, but they are clearly running different setups. I mean, it's not the same car, is it?
[38:46.600 -> 38:51.400] I mean, if it is the same car, then that's even more impressive from Russell because Russell is
[38:52.440 -> 38:54.440] well, he's absolutely smashing, isn't he?
[38:54.840 -> 38:56.840] Chloe has said
[38:56.840 -> 39:01.440] Out of all of the teams, who do you think has been the most under-aided driver this season?
[39:01.520 -> 39:05.600] Who maybe hasn't got the recognition that they deserve from
[39:05.600 -> 39:07.600] how well they've been driving.
[39:07.600 -> 39:11.400] Amazing, amazing.
[39:11.400 -> 39:16.200] Most underrated driver this season so far who hasn't got...
[39:16.200 -> 39:20.520] It's difficult because the Red Bull drivers, you know, they get their credit.
[39:20.520 -> 39:22.120] Ferrari drivers, they get their credit.
[39:22.120 -> 39:28.460] Mercedes drivers are so under the spotlight, they get their credit. I drivers are so under the spotlight they get their credit. I mean McLaren, not a lot has been
[39:28.460 -> 39:33.220] happening really has it. I mean there was loads of people who didn't send in
[39:33.220 -> 39:36.180] voice notes, there was loads of messages where people have wrote out about Daniel
[39:36.180 -> 39:41.380] Ricciardo. I don't even know what to say about the McLaren situation. I love
[39:41.380 -> 39:45.680] McLaren and I love Lando Norris and I love Daniel Ricciardo. I just
[39:45.680 -> 39:50.040] want to see them both absolutely smash it. I just don't know what to do. Okay, maybe
[39:50.040 -> 39:53.000] I need to get in that garage and have a little play with the car because you know, I know
[39:53.000 -> 39:59.200] I know everything about cars. I am going to actually say for me the driver that has had
[39:59.200 -> 40:09.520] a great season and been like completely like under not under the radar like it gets mentioned. But I just think like Fernando Alonso has done really well in the Alpine this year
[40:09.520 -> 40:14.560] I mean, he's had his moments like in Monaco where he's holding up the pack, but that's Fernando Alonso, isn't it?
[40:14.560 -> 40:16.560] He's a legend. He knows what he's doing
[40:16.880 -> 40:21.320] But I am gonna say Alonso and I'm saying that the week Fab's not here
[40:21.600 -> 40:25.520] Because then he, if he was here and I said that he would not shut up. So I'm saying it when he's not here because then he if he was here and I said that he would not shut up
[40:25.800 -> 40:30.940] So I'm saying it when he's not here Wow. I've just looked at the recorder. I've been going for 40 minutes
[40:30.960 -> 40:34.960] How are you guys not bored of 40 minutes of me on my own?
[40:34.960 -> 40:39.880] I'm sat here with massive sweat patches. My legs are literally stuck together
[40:41.000 -> 40:48.120] 40 minutes of me on my own. I'm sorry. It's just been me this week. We going to finish up, I've got loads more voice notes but I just won't be able to get
[40:48.120 -> 40:50.620] through them all, I clicked a few random ones, I'm sorry guys.
[40:50.620 -> 40:53.880] But we will do more, don't worry about it, every time we ask for them, send them in and
[40:53.880 -> 40:56.840] I'll pick them and I'll answer as many as I can.
[40:56.840 -> 41:03.000] My prediction for this week, I've gone for Stappen to win, Perez second, and don't judge
[41:03.000 -> 41:04.320] me on this, okay?
[41:04.320 -> 41:07.000] But I've gone for Valtteri Bottas third. All right
[41:07.040 -> 41:11.900] This is the guy who has the track record at the Canadian Grand Prix. Yeah, you hear me?
[41:11.900 -> 41:14.300] The Alfa Romeo isn't a slow car is it?
[41:14.920 -> 41:19.020] That's right. It's not so maybe just maybe
[41:19.620 -> 41:23.020] If they don't have any problems with the car things goes Bottas his way
[41:23.220 -> 41:29.760] Could he be on the podium Fab has gone for Charles Leclerc to win, Carlos Sainz second, and Perez third.
[41:29.760 -> 41:32.000] What are your predictions?
